South along the “via Rhona” a really nice cycle path, all off-road and all tarmac, started dull but got bright in the afternoon and the wind blows from the north when the sun shines, don’t do this route from south to north!
A mixture of industry and agriculture, the valley is flat but the cliffs on the west side are nearby, there are 3 hydro-electric power stations and one which has big cooling towers so is presumably coal, but there are signs up about nuclear, so maybe both. Lots of electricity about anyway.
And so to my nice BandB, I lived on baguette and ready-sliced gruyere from the supermarket today, plus a few prunes, feeling better.
